many other “whatevers.” Whatever we do, the Bible says, we should do it with all our heart and all our might. There is nothing outside the scope of Paul’s words concerning living life heartily. It is telling that when Jesus identified the greatest commandment from the Old Testament, it reflected pure passion: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all you mind” (Matthew 22:37). How many Christians think about loving God passionately with all their heart?
